What makes Manhattan Mailroom's recycling unique?
Let’s face it we are a country who loves to shop online. There is nothing wrong with that, but many of the boxes you receive are filled with packing material you don’t need. P-nuts, packing peanuts, Popcorn, Loosefill or styro chips, whatever you call them they can get everywhere. They are specifically engineered to take up as much space as possible for the lowest weight, so no wonder they act like little parachutes when the wind kicks up.
What do you do with these things?
Bring them to Manhattan Mailroom in a paper or plastic bag (no boxes please) and let us recycle them.
How do we do that?
We reuse them. By adding them back into the package stream we reduce the amount of this material that has to be produced.
